mangoes,mangosteens,lycheees

went for mango exclusive sale preview today! was number 7 in the queue. haha. lucky 7. went to the one inside shaw isetan.. it's easier to try things there. didn't buy much as usual.. realised every mango sale, no matter how many pieces i tried on, i'll eventually just buy 5 pieces. maybe it's a magic number. haha. oh well.. they do have tons of things. but no shoes and sunnies. wanted to get sunnies but oh well... saw jade seah at the other shaw. she was trying on clothes. funny how alot of celebrities, when they go out, the clothes they wear somehow NEVER match. but they still look drop dead gorgeous. bad fashion. only celebrities can carry them off? hmmmmmmmmm

had lunch at this really awful place at lido.. they serve chicken kebabs and all. it's really awful, with rice too buttery and chicken way too dry. yucks.

had to buy mangosteens and other fruits for OC cuz i went off for sale. bought lychees and mangosteens in the end. these fruits are damn heavy manz!!

weekendss

weekend has been hectic. saturday was room allocation. i'm gonna stay in my old hot room. yes, A219. i quite like the number. and the true blue hall queen is staying in E219. hahaha. kinda like tt one too. after room allo was rushing to town and other places to collect mmy dress and get accessories for it. goodness, there're soooo many nice things in town now. wish i could buy them all!! haha. comm's ball was pretty fun. the company was good. the table waws good. at least they're people whom i can relate to better than the others. haha. the other table drinks ton of red wine and talks about bugatti and cartier and what nots. oh well. maybe a few years later i'll be like tt. haha but for now, i still enjoy my dad's L300. haha..

sunday was spent at yen's place.. we had steamboat lunch. pretty cool idea since steamboats are usually for dinner and all. haha it's really nice lounging around yen's couches.. we are all couch potatoeS! love the tv, channel switching, falling asleep. hhaaa.. maybe next time we can try steamboat breakfast. hahaha.

went to don's new house after lunch. it's really a cool place to hang out at.. now that everything's in place. really really pretty. jus like a hotel. the duvets and lights and deco is so banyan tree! foo. really cool. it must have cost a bomb manz. and don's new macbook pro's damn pretty too.

and so, monday morning is spent in front of my comp.. waiting for morning meeting to start. this is a start to the new week too. proposal week. drowning myself in diana ross and patsy cline now. really think i'm born in the wrong era. i simply lovveeee oldies..jazz..swing..big band and all. i do love hip hop music. those catchy ones only.. and maybe some rubbish songs here and there. i do enjoy paris hilton's stars are blind noe.. haha.. oh wellls.

bad day

today... hmm not really a good day. went off for tuition first thing in the morning after meeting. tuition wasn't so fun. after tt rushed down to town to alter my dress in a cab, after which i took another cab down to ang moh kio to collect my laptop, after which i took another cab to rush back to hall. how sucky is tt, rushing here and there and wasting money on cab fare. didn't ask donovan's mom to fetch me to collect the laptop cuz i think she'll be really busy with the new house and all. alteration of dress cost $25. the lady wanted to charge me some 35 bucks. wtf x 100. it's only alteration of length and taking in from the shoulder part. when i got back to hall, my thumbdrive started giving me problems. when things are deleted, the space are not freed. was trying to transfer things from don's laptop to my laptop. after when things were solved, i switched off don's comp and left it in the bag.

investiture followed after mass dance session. before tt, don came over to take the laptop from me. however he was already fuming cuz he can't find some simulator for his xbox. i wanted the car simulator for shin's PS2. donovan gets pissed off whenever he can't find the things he wants. the worst came when he went home, he couldn't start up his laptop. but whatt!! it was running smoothly this afternoon. how can it not start up when he was using it! he called me up and confronted me manz. goodness. can you imagine donovan, who seldom has temper, flaring up??? so there goes my night. everything was kinda ruined. cuz i felt really really bad for spoiling his comp in a way. sighhhhhhhhhhhs.

so investiture came and gone. so much for being so happy tt my laptop is back..now that i spoil another one.
luck is really really down these days. probably will step on crap or something tomorrow. sighs.

it's wednesday today. gonna have our first presentation in a few hours' time.
me, junhong and zhenyang just cleaned up the entire ops room. gosh, there's really hell of a load of dirt around in this room. now it's much much cleaner! makes sleeping easier too! haha kudos to 3 of us!

really brings back nice memories of jacko's posters many many years ago. i used to keep tons of jacko's posters taken frm my sis's smash hits mags. haha dunno how come i threw them all away. but his songs really calm pple down and all.

hope presentation won't drag till friday. i wanna go off after tuition and look for my dresss!!!

everything's back to normal again.
weekends were great. sat was spent at PC show and elizabeth arden sales. got like really really cheap deals from elizabeth arden and got yiting's bday pressie there. can't go for her bday party cuz of don's comm's parade. it's this saturday. he's finally commissiong. really proud. oh and julian's company's best for bmt. kudos kudos. had a full dinner at kenny's rogers before heading off to don's new place at sembawang. it's really really gorgeous. the interiors are really cool. aunty regina and deb's rooms look like it's taken off from banyan tree. all the furnishings, designer's feature walls. don's room pretty special, it's a loft. cool cool cool. the hse shld really be featured in home decor or something.

had a mini shopping spree today. had little time to spare cuz don has to go back to safti by 7.30..was pretty upset when i couldn't go town cuz i have yet to get my dress for comm's ball. in the end, we headed to parkway. bought a belt frm dorothy perkins and a bag frm nike. both had 10% discounts so why not.. haha after tt was heading back to hall, only to realize aprilyn has the key to both the ops room and the room we all share. oh my! haha so left my things with julia before heading down to queensway myself. saw quite a few nice things at queensway. was sooo tempted to buy an argentina jersey. but held back and bought other stuff. haha. headed to ikea and looked at pretty pretty furnitures and frames and bedsheets. night out myself was ok. pretty interesting. =)

now here i am, in the ops room. jus finished typing proposals. it's massive and realised i have missed out quite a bit of wordings. oh my. oh well.

it's really sad sometimes how people forget each other's existence. or sometimes when your friends kinda forget you when they are busy? or sometimes they think you're busy so they don't really bother to communicate with you and stuff? i feel that sometimes, but perhaps i'm just being really over sensitive. sometimes, when people get pissed off with you even when it's not your fault? like you can't go out with em cuz u're really busy and they get worked up? sometimes i really feel like strangling these people. it's not as if i really want to be tt busy. i wish to be as free as you are. but i have got other committment. so why don't ya just respect that fact. ggrrrr...

pretty grumpy these days ain't i.
